The Wood County Recreation Commission is funded by the Wood County Commission,
City of Parkersburg, and the Wood County Board of Education. Each of these entities selects three representatives to serve
on the Wood County Recreation Commission Board.
Additionally, the Wood County Recreation Commission receives funding from the following
organizations:
- Henry Logan Children's Home
- McDonough Foundation
- Fraternal Order of Eagles #2307
- Moose Lodge #1118
- American Legion Post 15
- VFW Post 1212
- Knights of Columbus
- Disabled American Veterans
(These organizations may fund specific programs or activities or may fund the Wood County Recreation Commission
on a general basis)
