Fishing DerbyAnnual event for participants between the ages of 3 - 14. This one day event is held on the third
Saturday of April at both the City Park and Southwood Park ponds. There is no cost to participate.
Additional Information
 Harvest Moon Arts & Crafts FestivalThis annual event give crafters the opportunity
to present and promote arts and crafts as a form of recreation. This is a juried event and a major fundraiser for the
Wood County Recreation Commission. The festival is held the third weekend in September at the Parkersburg City Park.
