Make a donation to the Wood County Recreation Commission Bennett "Benny" Stump Fund
 

Benny Stump dedicated his life to youth sports and recreation and served on the Wood County Recreation Commission Board for many years.  He had requested that, upon his death, donations be made in his memory to the Wood County Recreation Commission.  You can honor Benny and ensure the continuation of the Wood County Recreation Commission and children's sports and recreation programming for generations to come by donating to this fund.  There are two ways to donate:
  • Send a check to the Wood County Recreation Commission specifying that it is to go the WCRC Benny Stump Fund
  • Make a donation directly to the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation specifying the Wood County Recreation Commission Bennett "Benny" Stump Fund

Volunteer with Wood County Recreation!

We are always looking for volunteers in all our programs.  If you're a happy person who loves kids we have a place for you in our organization.  Be a volunteer coach, help us out in the office, help us with fundraising events or special events...there are a number of ways to volunteer for the Wood County Recreation Commission.  Just click on the link below to let us know how you are interesting in volunteering.

WCRC is currently seeking Playground Program employees.  Qualified applicants should possess skills in patience, should enjoy working with children, must be dependable, and must be able to pass a background check.  If you are interested, please contact CC Hardman at 304 424-7311 x203.
